Yu-Wei is a PhD student at Roy J. Carver Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Iowa. He obtained his Master's degree at National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan, dedicating himself to transitional medicine, using an interdisciplinary, collaborative, and bench-to-bedside approach, including tissue engineering, regenerative medicine, and drug delivery. He joined Mu Lab in 2024, delving into studying 3D-printed silk fibroin implants and applying them as a local and sustained drug delivery system of immunotherapy for cancers and chronic diseases.
