Reza joined the Mu Lab in 2023 as a graduate student in the Roy J Carver Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Iowa after obtaining a master's degree in Biomechanics from the Sharif University of Technology, Iran. His current research focuses on the 3D printing and characterization of silk fibroin for a wide range of biomedical applications, including tissue-chips and therapeutic tissue patches.
