Elise Luallen was awarded a $1000 Research Supply Grant by the Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) for exploiting native silk proteins to fabricate tissue scaffolds and functional microstructures. We appreciate OUR for supporting the development of our UGs at UIOWA, the next-generation scientists and engineers.

Dr. Mu was awarded the Best Reviewer Award by the International Journal of Extreme Manufacturing, a peer-reviewed journal ranked first in the category of manufacturing and engineering in the Journal Citation Reports (2022).
