Hannah, a sophomore in BME, has been awarded the 2023 Summer ICRU Research Fellowship, which strengthens the support for her research work at the Mu lab. 

Elise, a freshman in BME working at the Mu lab, has been awarded a CIMBA scholarship to support her in a four-week study abroad program in Italy. Studying abroad has always been her dream. And She is excited to come back with a heightened appreciation of global values and perspective. 

Both Hannah and Elise are working on silkworms, a natural version of an extrusion-based 3D printer and a source of inspiration for a holistic approach to sustainable polymer manufacturing.
